The Best Made Plans.......
so I planned this cool surprise party for my soon to be 12 year old daughter. She was going to babysit for the neighbors' two little girls until 8 p.m. and I had 5 of her little buddies planned to show up, dip strawberries in chocolate and I had sewn a really cool purple chiffon netting for over her bed, but first it, along with a whole bunch of white lights, was going to transform the living room into a sleep-over area.
4 a.m. the morning of the party, Zoya wakes me up with the stomach flu.
so instead we had the two little girls over, so their parents could still go out to dinner, and the little boy we had planned to divert my son from bugging the big girls.
The big girls ended up going to a different surprise party that got planned that afternoon.
oh well, sometimes things are not meant to be.
Sort of like my cable sweater, Jere called the other day, she is trying to do her sleeves together, like I am trying to do, and in trying to explain to her how to do the increases on the sleeves, I realized I am not doing mine correctly. The sweater that wasn't. I think I am now engaged with it enough to work on it and blitz to get it done.
as always will keep you posted. L
