My little sweetie with Grandma's scarf...color is not wild enough for her to borrow permanently This is Zoya modelling one of the many scarves I made as gifts for Christmas. I started this steel gray scarf last year for myself, with wine colored fringe, but never did finish it due to comments from the Taste Patrol (Zoya) - who this year informed me that the color for the fringe was totally wrong and I needed to make it the same color. Luckily the Knitting Frenzy had a sale so I was able to scoop up more Berroco Glace fringe for this one and then more wine colored Chinchilla to match the fringe that didn't match.....that is sitting waiting for me to knit it for Debby. This scarf is going to Zoya's grandma.
I also went wild and made two keyhole scarves with #12 needles - I stuck both scarves on one big needle - as well as a really fuzzy one from some more of the Berocco hairy stuff, lost the tags. Made one for my cousin - it was really cool and then 2 chenille scarves.
I did see one web page where the person was starting next year's presents now. good idea, will i do it? unlikely.
Now that I have figured out how to add photos I will start putting some more of my things on this page. cheers.
